Hi, I have a Word table that is embedded as an object in a
main Word document (Word 2002)[this is probably because
the entire table was copied from another Word or Excel
document at one point].

The embedded table has all borders formatted correctly.
However, in the main document, the right border will not
show. Narrowing the right-most column width does not
resolve this phenomenon. How can I make this border
show? Thanks.

Hi Eric

At least one possible explanation for what you're seeing is that there is no
border, and that you're seeing the table's gridlines (controlled from Table
View/Hide Gridlines) or the document's text boundaries (controlled from
Tools > Options > View).

If you click within a cell in the right hand column and choose Format >
Borders, does the diagram have a border on the right? If not, you can add
one here.

Hope this helps.
